My Monthly Three – Blog & Life

It’s been 3 months into my blog and now I think I’ve gotten the hang of things. I personally believe I’m ready to take the next stop and be fully invested into my passion to write. Every month going forward I plan on taking the LDRBN challenge of My Monthly Three. This challenge allows us to jot down at least 3 goals we want to achieve whether it be for life and/or for the blog for the month. (If you’re in a long distance relationship or have been and would like to join the community, hop on! We’d love to get you on board!)

For the month of March I would like to:

01. DRINK MORE WATER. I’ve said this time and time again, I need to drink more water. I don’t dislike water, I just get bored of it because the taste is too bland. No, I don’t drink soda to quench my thirst but I do drink a lot of juice. But here’s my post on how I’m trying to change that.

02. TAKE MORE PHOTOS WITH MY DSLR. For anyone who knows me, I love to capture the moment either through photos or videos. However, I can’t always bring a camera with me so I end up using my phone more often. I used to take a small camera with me everywhere I go but I’ve broken at least 3 cameras in doing so. I was given a DSLR as a christmas gift from my dad and I rarely use it because I don’t like carrying things around anymore. I need to change that. In less than 2 weeks, I’ll be leaving for California to spend time with J for his birthday. I plan on taking more photographs with my DSLR while I’m there. Ideally I would love to create my own photo stock for my blog posts and for editing purposes.

03. CONFESSIONS. What I have envisioned for this blog was about sharing my past experiences to the world and in turn hopefully be able to motivate and encourage others (mainly women, sorry boys) to find their inner strength to move forward. We all had our shares of cards that life has handed to us but to be able to impact another individual with words is something I’ve always wanted to do. Without neglecting my adventures in my long distance relationship with J, I want to be able to showcase more of my confessions and bring what this blog’s purpose is to life.

    I miss my DSLR 🙁 It broke before Halloween and I haven’t been able to fix it yet. Taking pics and drinking a lot of water sound great for your mental health.
