Inspiring Reasons Why You Should Always Dress Well + Fashion Bloggers Round Up

Getting dressed up is something a lot of people only do for special occasions. I’ll be honest, I’m one of those people. The rest of the time, they might have a standard wardrobe for different situations. Maybe you wear jeans and a t-shirt for casual outfits, and you have a selection of skirts and blouses for work. For me, my go to’s are always black leggings and some oversize shirt. But there are several arguments for putting effort into your outfit all the time. No matter what you’re doing, you can go the extra mile to look great. You don’t have to go over the top to look amazing, either. You can dress well and look appropriate for all occasions. Here are some excellent reasons to do it.

Boost Your Confidence

Looking your best at all times is an excellent way to boost your confidence. While lounging around in jeans and a hoodie is comfortable, it’s not the same. You can sometimes find yourself feeling a bit frumpy and lazy. That can be ok if you’re just eating ice cream on the sofa at home. But when you’re going about your daily life, a confidence boost can help you in so many ways. You can feel ready to take on tough situations at work or approach people with confidence. The odd compliment on your outfit doesn’t hurt, either. I find that if I make the effort to look good (and I don’t mean pounds of make up and a ball gown), I actually feel great about myself. Even with a little of natural make up, nice shirt and jeans – it provides a completely different mindset. And you’ll always be photo ready.

Make a Good Impression

It’s a fact of like that the way you dress reflects on you as a person. People expect you to be presentable in various situations, like when you’re at work. Of course, you don’t exactly have to dress up to please other people. But turning up to the office in your comfiest clothes probably won’t make the impression you want to. Dressing appropriately to the setting is the minimum requirement. However, if you go the extra mile, people can see that you care about yourself and the image you present.

Express Yourself

Dressing well is always an incredible way to express yourself. When you’re looking at new clothes from Madison Los Angeles and other stores, you can pick items that speak to you. Even if you have to follow a dress code, like when you’re at work, you can show your personality. The way you choose to dress can let people know who you are or how you want them to see you. Perhaps you love bright colors to show off your bubbly personality. Statement jewelry might show that you’re larger than life too. Or you might choose to be a bit more toned done if you take things more seriously.

Be Creative

Being creative can be a wonderful asset in all walks of life. Creative thinking can help you to solve problems and be innovative. If you want to start the day in the right frame of mind, picking your outfit can set you up. In fact, being creative with what you wear could help you build skills you can use elsewhere. It could help you develop a better eye for color and make smart judgments.

Everyone has their own style and their own way of presenting themselves. Some look at inspirations of others to tweak their outfits and some follow trends. If you have a hard time trying to find some inspiration, I’ve created a short list of my favorite blogger babes that all have their own style and aren’t afraid to show it. Here are 5 ladies that are killing the fashion and travel scene right now! Hopefully they can help create some inspiration for you:

This is so true! Being a mom of three littles, it’s hard to get myself all dressed up, but definitely love when I do as it gives me a boost! <3

I totally agreed with the boost your confidence angle! On a day where I’m feeling down, I make it a point to dress a little nicer than I normally would (even though I work remotely), put on some bright purple lipstick and venture out into the world. Though it takes extra effort, I always feel better!

Putting in effort to how you look definitely does boost that self-esteem. When I just don’t care my makeup is the first thing that goes. That and living in a small town in Alaska, where the normal attire is a skirt paired the Xtra tuffs, you tend to lose your inspiration for effort. Thank you for the reminder 🙂
