A Visit To Edmonton’s REGRUB

It’s been a week since RE:GRUB finally opened in Edmonton! RE:GRUB has been on Calgary’s popularity list due to their beautifully crafted milkshake that is Instagram worthy!

The menu consists of Burgers, Fries and of course, their milkshakes. All the items used in their menu are made from scratch and the ingredients are sourced locally. Buns & doughnuts are made fresh every morning, fries are hand-cut, and every day they grind their own meat for their burgers!

While drinking refreshing shakes in glass mason jars with mustaches on them you can write on their graffiti wall. Spoiler – it’s erasable. However, I was able to snag a spot where I can permanently write my name on it.

Since their opening here in Edmonton, Alberta their hours have been limited but after the end of this month, they’ll be opening regular hours going forward!

Every month they offer specially crafted items on their menu.

It’s worth taking a look on their website. You’ll also find that they have a Live Queue Cam so if you’re ever wondering if it’s packed, take a peek before you head out! Cause… who wants to wait in line anyway?

What caught my eye the most was that they include a small heart shape cookie which said,

“Have a cookie and smile! When a baby is born with down syndrome, they go through a very intense heart surgery during the first few months of their life. This little heart shaped cookie is dedicated to all of those babies who have gone through this surgery. Showing us the love, strength, and bravery of their little hearts.”

Turns out, last year they donated $1 per every Mama Mia/Made21 Burger that was sold towards Children’s hospital to purchase toys for all the little ones for the holidays. And that was only a little over a year after they opened in Calgary. It honestly touched my heart.

If you’re in either city, I’d recommend coming by this spot.

The vibe is amazing and it’s not hard to miss how everything including the decor and food is beautifully crafted to grab your attention.
